First, your skin is prepared with a gentle cleanser and prepping solution, followed by the use of a specially designed blade to sweep away dead skin and fine hair. Skin-specific finishing products are then applied to reset the skin’s moisture level and protect it from environmental damage. Dermaplaning is often paired with other treatments such as chemical peels or hydradermabrasions or Hydrafacials to improve the results of those procedures.
Following a dermaplaning treatment, you can expect mild pinkness in your skin for the remainder of the day. It’s fine to apply makeup immediately after your procedure. You may return to normal activities immediately.
Following your treatment, we’ll provide a customized self-care plan designed to help you reach your skin goals. The treatment can be repeated monthly to maintain results.
