ThermiVa is a no-downtime-needed, non-invasive vaginal tightening and rejuvenation treatment. Over time the internal and external vaginal tissues become atrophied (loose) like other areas of the skin and tissue. Time, hormonal changes, and previous childbirth can all contribute to skin loosening in the vaginal canal and the external labia majora and labia minora.
Thermi is a radiofrequency-based device that delivers energy to the tissues and stimulates new collagen and elastin production, which leads to a tighter, smoother, more youthful vagina. On the day of treatment, you’ll lie down on your back on a comfortable treatment bed. One of our ThermiVa specialists will evaluate the vaginal area and insert the small disposable plastic probe into your vaginal canal. She will move the wand around in a circular motion to make sure that she treats the entire vaginal canal. Once the inside is treated, she will move to the external labia and gently wave the wand over those tissues until the area is completely treated. The treatment will feel warm, but not hot or painful.

No. ThermiVa is intended for women with mild to moderate concerns who are seeking a non-surgical option. Patients with more significant pelvic floor disorders or tissue laxity may benefit from evaluation by a gynecologic specialist or other treatment options.
You won’t have any limitations post-treatment. You may return to almost any activity, including sexual intercourse, as soon as you’d like after treatment.
You may need additional treatment in nine to 12 months simply due to the aging process. The results won’t wear off or go away, but you will continue to age, so you may want treatment again to maintain the best results.
