Thermi Tight

Dr. Johnson performs Thermi Tight in our office at Steele Dermatology. First, we mark the areas to be treated, then make a small incision to allow the entry of a needle to infuse the numbing solution. Once the area is numb, Dr. Johnson slowly inserts a probe that delivers radiofrequency energy. The probe is slowly passed through the tissue back and forth until the whole area is treated. You will be completely comfortable since the area is numb. Once the treatment is complete, the probe is removed, the small incision area(s) is bandaged and a compression garment is applied, and then you’re ready to go home.
We want you to wear a compression garment for least 7-10 days, although you may feel more comfortable wearing for a bit longer. Compression garments for the body may be worn under clothing. It’s best to avoid any exercise that involves the areas treated for 7-10 days. You may immediately return to work, normal home, and social activities as long as they are not particularly physically demanding.
Your results from Thermi Tight are permanent. However, you will continue to age and your skin may get looser and start to sag again to some degree at some point. Continuously use skincare products to maintain your results, and you may consider another procedure in 2 – 3 years.

Thermi Tight is a minimally invasive treatment that uses radiofrequency to tighten loose, sagging, or crepey skin. It may be performed with liposuction to remove any excess fat (on the abdomen, neck, or other). However, some thin/fit patients may simply have loose, hanging, or crepey skin without any fat to remove. The result of the Thermi Tight radiofrequency treatment is dramatic skin tightening.
